Can I combine dental treatment with a holiday in Albania?

Yes, and most patients do. Appointments usually occupy part of a day, leaving afternoons free for Tirana, Berat or the coast. Your coordinator schedules treatment so free days fall where you want them.

Should I swim after treatment?

After surgical work such as implants or extractions, the clinic will ask you to avoid swimming, diving and sun exposure for a period. Follow the written aftercare instructions rather than a general rule from the internet.

How long is the drive to the Riviera?

Saranda and the southern beaches are a longer drive from Tirana, so they suit the end of a stay. Durrës and the central coast are much closer and work well between appointments.

Are trips and excursions included in the packages?

No. Our packages cover coordination, hotel and transfers where stated. Excursions are yours to choose, and your coordinator will happily point you to what is worth doing near your appointment days.

A sample five-day stay

Day one: arrival, airport transfer, and an examination with X-rays or a CT scan at the clinic. Day two: the main treatment appointment, then rest. Day three: free — Tirana's Blloku, the Bunk'Art museums or a day trip to Berat.

Day four: review appointment and any fitting or adjustment. Day five: final check, then transfer to the airport. Most patients find the free time larger than they expected.

A sample seven-day stay

Longer stays suit veneers, crowns and surgical work that needs lab time in the middle. Days one and two are assessment and preparation, days three to five are largely yours, and days six and seven are fitting and review.

That middle stretch is when the coast makes sense: Durrës is close, and the southern Riviera is worth a two-night trip if your aftercare instructions allow it.
